Day 140 Garden Gone Wild

Apparently the only things we can grown in our garden are cucumbers and tomatoes, but at least they are thriving! This is a picture of our grape tomatoes. They have been the most productive of the 6 different varieties we planted this year.

Day 139 New Printer

We have finally upgraded our crappy old printer! We even have WI FI which is so convenient. It seemed like the only time I needed to print something was when I was on the laptop. LOVE LOVE LOVE the new printer!!!

Day 138 Keep Away

When Spotty gets too annoying with his ball a little game of keep away is in store. He is obsessed with the thing, as you can tell...it's well loved. He won't even take his eyes off it!

Day 137 Loungin'

This is how I spent the whole day, yes the whole day. Loungin', watching chick flicks and surfing the internet for photography information. Sounds like a great day to me!

Day 136 School Shopping

It's that time of year again...time to break the bank on school supplies, new shoes, new clothes, new spikes for cross country! We spent 7 1/2 long hours shopping for stuff this year, but at least James and I had some fun in the process :)

Day 135 To Make Matters Worse

Not only did she cut down the vine, but after claiming she did nothing wrong she brought back all of the branches from our vine and set them in her yard right behind the fence. What is wrong with people?

Day 134 Grape Vine No Longer Devine

"What is this?" you might ask. Well, this is what remains of our beautiful 20 year old 35 foot grape vine. We came home to find that our neighbors cut the vine off our fence. They were nice enough to leave us the stump. Just for comparison, this is what the same vine looked like just two short summers ago.

It spanned nearly the entire fence at the back of our property. Not only was it beautiful, but gave us some privacy from the neighbors behind us. The vine also produced an edible, abundant crop of grapes.

The neighbors didn't like the vine so they continually whacked the back side of it until it finally died, but the vine itself was still beautiful as you can see from this photo which I originally posted on this blog at day 57.

I still can not believe they would do something like this! This is the before and after of our grape vine.
